Kamaali Parmelu is a very difficult composition. It is a tihai within a tihai, composed of three pallas, each with three sub-pallas. Each sub-palla of Kamali chakkardar ends with three aghats or strokes. The beauty of this type of tihai is that the first stroke of the first sub-palla of the first palla, the second stroke of the second sub-palla of the second palla, and the third stroke of the third sub-palla of the third palla correspond to the sum.
